During my tenure at equensWorldline SE, I contributed as an Application Developer within an international team. Our core focus was on the authorization of credit card transactions. Key responsibilities included:
- Developing new features in C++.
- Crafting alteration scripts in SQL.
- Creating unit tests utilizing the Jenkins framework.
- Managing and collaborating through Git repositories.
- Analyzing and estimating programming tasks.
- Conducting bug fixes in both development and production environments.
In addition to these duties, I occasionally stepped into a leadership role during critical situations and was selected for the on-call emergency support team. This role involved addressing urgent system issues in production, requiring availability during unconventional hours like nights and weekends. This experience, although dated, laid a strong foundation for my subsequent professional development.
